Join The Nature Conservancy for a Careers in Conservation experience with hands‑on fieldwork, expert mentorship, and real‑world skill building at Silver Creek Preserve, Rinker Rock Creek Ranch, and other beautiful natural areas.
During this experience you will:
+ Work with scientists, innovators, ranchers, researchers, firefighters, business owners, and conservationists
+ Learn about wildfire mitigation and prescribed burning +
+ Implement stream restoration techniques
+ Speak with National Geographic Society-Nature Conservancy externs who are implementing environmental solutions globally
+ Identify native plants and manage noxious weeds
+ Plan residential solar installations
+ Restore habitat for wildlife

TIME: 9:00 AM-3:30 PM
LOCATION: Hailey Community Campus, 1050 Fox Acres Rd. Hailey, ID (daily transportation to site locations provided)
AGES: Middle & High School Students (Ages 12-19)
MAX ENROLLMENT: 20 students
