Explore Your Future in Law Enforcement!
Ever wondered what it’s really like to protect and serve? The Blaine County Law Enforcement Academy is opening its doors for a first-of-its-kind, hands-on summer camp! This isn’t your average classroom—this is where you suit up and step into the boots of a professional.
Led by elite officers from across the county—including the Sheriff’s Office, Hailey PD, Sun Valley PD, and more—you’ll master the skills that keep our community safe.
The Mission: Start your day learning the "Rules of the Game"—the real-world laws of search, seizure, and arrest.
The Field: Put your knowledge to the test! You’ll practice vehicle searches for contraband, master professional handcuffing techniques, and learn the art of officer safety.
The Training: Level up in our ARCON (Arrest and Control) session, where you’ll learn defensive maneuvers and tactical compliance.
The Tech: Step into the future on the VirTra Virtual Simulator. Using an air compressed laser simulator, students will learn about firearms safety, the fundamentals of marksmanship, and shoot for the top marksmanship award on virtual targets. Are you ready to take the lead? Register today for this unique training experience!
This camp is presented in partnership with the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, Hailey Police Department, Sun Valley Police Department, Bellevue Marshal's Office, Search and Rescue, St. Luke's, and Emergency Medical Services.
