Are you ready to tackle some of the world’s toughest challenges so that people and nature can thrive together? Join The Nature Conservancy for a Careers in Conservation experience with hands‑on fieldwork, expert mentorship, and real‑world skill building at Silver Creek Preserve, Rinker Rock Creek Ranch, and other beautiful natural areas. During this experience, you’ll learn from scientists, innovators, ranchers, researchers, firefighters, business owners, and other conservation professionals.

During this immersive course you will:

  • Implement stream restoration techniques

  • Speak with National Geographic Society-Nature Conservancy externs who are implementing innovative environmental solutions globally

  • Learn about wildfire mitigation and management techniques

  • Identify native plants and manage noxious weeds

  • Plan residential solar installations

  • Restore habitat for wildlife.

Come learn about how you can devote your unique skills and passions to the service of the lands and waters that sustain all life on earth.
